Privacy Policy

MST Trading Tools is built to give you as much as possible without asking for anything in return. That principle shapes how we handle data.

No accounts, no tracking pixels

You do not need to register, sign up or provide personal information to use anything on this site. We do not run ad tech, third-party analytics or fingerprinting scripts. The site works without cookies; the only local storage we may use is limited to your preferences within a specific tool (e.g. the AI Chart Analyzer's language toggle) and never leaves your browser.

Downloads are anonymous

Files hosted in /downloads/ (future in-house software) are served as static assets. We do not attach a user identifier to the download and we do not log which IP downloaded which file at the application layer. Aggregate traffic logs at the hosting provider are retained per their standard policy.

Backtest Analyzer runs locally

The MT5 Backtest Report Analyzer parses your .html report entirely in your browser using the built-in DOMParser. The file never leaves your device. No server-side processing, no upload, no copy is kept anywhere.

AI Chart Analyzer

When you click Analyze on the AI Chart Analyzer, your screenshot is downscaled in the browser and then sent to Google Gemini via our server-side API route. It is used strictly to generate the response and is not saved by us. Google's standard developer terms and privacy notice apply to the transit and processing of the image on their side.

Rate limiting

To keep the AI tool free for everyone, we apply a sliding-window rate limit of 5 analyses per IP per 24 hours via Upstash Redis. The only thing stored is a temporary, non-personally-identifying counter keyed by a hashed representation of the request IP. The counter expires automatically inside the 24-hour window.

Third-party links

Some links on this site (marked with rel="sponsored") point to broker or infrastructure partners. When you click through and open an account, the partner may pay us a rebate. That relationship is disclosed on every link; the partner's own privacy policy governs anything you share with them.
